How long will a crate of logs last?

The lifespan of a crate of logs depends heavily on three factors: the size of the crate, how often you burn, and the efficiency of your stove or fireplace.

  • Standard Crates: Typically contain between 1.0 and 1.2 cubic metres of loose-filled logs. For a user who burns an average of three to four evenings a week, this crate might last 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Large Crates: Often containing 1.6 to 1.8 cubic metres of loose-filled logs. For a user who heats their home daily or burns heavily every evening, this larger crate can last 6 to 10 weeks (a full season for an occasional user).
